Natural Light by Mary McIntosh
Mary McIntosh has selected fabrics that reflect or absorb the light, mindful of the stained glass window at St Margaret’s gallery in Norwich for the forthcoming exhibition. She has considered joy and the love of nature in her response to a secular deeper meaning to life.

Conversations across the border
Mary McIntosh and Frances Overy write about the inspiration behind their collaborative work based on the history of silk weaving in Sudbury and wool trade in Norwich. Their work includes the traditional dyestuffs including Madder, Mustard and Woad.

Festival of Quilts 2026
Sarah Boardman, Mary McIntosh and Nicola Whayman will all be taking part in the Festival of Quilts at the NEC in Birmingham 30th July – 2nd August 2026.

Creative Stitch Graduate Show 2026
The Creative Stitch Graduate show will be exhibiting work at Needham Market Community Centre on 18th and 19th July 2026 and will include work by the current graduates alongside several other alumni groups including Out of The Fold. Their collaborative work ‘Material Dialogues’ will be shown at this show.

Juxtaposition at Textiles East Fair
Three Out of the Fold members – Heather Evans, Mary McIntosh and Penny Evans – are exhibiting at the Spring into Textiles East Fair on 21st and 22nd February 2026.
