Out of the Fold was formed in 2006 by students who completed City & Guilds courses in Patchwork and Quilting with tutor Annette Morgan. Twenty years later the group is still going strong, although the focus has moved away from quilting to mixed media textile art. Out of the Fold are invited as an alumni group to take part in the final ever Creative Stitch Graduate Show.
We are delighted to be exhibiting our ‘Material Dialogues Collaborations’ work at the show. Member pairs were selected at random with the challenge of working together to make a piece(s) of work on the theme. It proved to be a stimulating exercise with couples all working in quite different ways. Come along to the show to see the results.
