Creating the conversation between shell and stitch by Frances Overy
Frances Overy will be displaying her Material Dialogues work based on the shells on her local beach. It can be viewed at St Margaret’s gallery in Norwich between 23rd September and 4th October.

Conversations across the border
Mary McIntosh and Frances Overy write about the inspiration behind their collaborative work based on the history of silk weaving in Sudbury and wool trade in Norwich. Their work includes the traditional dyestuffs including Madder, Mustard and Woad.

Creative Stitch Graduate Show 2026
The Creative Stitch Graduate show will be exhibiting work at Needham Market Community Centre on 18th and 19th July 2026 and will include work by the current graduates alongside several other alumni groups including Out of The Fold. Their collaborative work ‘Material Dialogues’ will be shown at this show.
